Kim works in medical billing at MMPC - Marin medical Practice Concepts, close enough to ride her bike. Jed commutes to Santa Rosa where he is a senior geologist at Winzler & Kelly Consulting Engineers. Since we are a pair of DINKs (dual income, no kids), there are numerous activities we enjoy, and you can check some of them out by using the buttons above.
Jed acquired a boat in 2006 and spends time fishing for salmon and tuna, as well as scuba and abalone diving, and gathering critters for his refrigerated saltwater aquarium. He also likes to go 4 wheeling in his built-up Toyota T100. Jed also hunts turkeys, wild pigs, deer, and occasionally ducks, when he is not spearfishing underwater for halibut or collecting rock scallops to make ceviche'. In his limited spare time, he makes fabulous beer and wine, and sometimes olives and cheese. The latest toy is a Bradley smoker, which allows the salmon and tuna to be preserved for later enjoyment. If you ask nicely the next time you visit, you are apt to go home with a nice bottle of red wine and a vacuum sealed package of smoked fish!
Kim has the green thumb, so the house plants and garden are always growing. She takes care of the numerous tomato plants, in addition to peppers, cucumbers, peas, beans, corn, onions, herbs and such. She also makes some great beaded jewelry, and likes to take care of all her friends and family be doing psychic healing. Being a seamstress, tie-dying, and making clay animals also fills her time.
We bought a big Ford diesel truck in 2007, and a cabover camper to fill it up, so we can go camping with the dive club and attend the various festivals where we get our music fix. During the summer of 2007 we went to telluride bluegrass festival, high sierra music festival, and burning man.
