1- Start Eudora and click on Special 2- Click on Configuration. 3- In the POP Account box type in your YourName@marincounty.net SonomaCounty users enter your LogonName@SonomaMail.com see note 4- In the SMTP Server box type in marincounty.net SonomaCounty users type SonomaMail.com 5- In the Name box type in your Full Name. 6- In the Return Address box type in YourName@marincounty.net SonomaCounty users enter your LogonName@SonomaMail.com 7- All the other boxes are not critical and can be left as is or changed to suit your needs. 8- Click OK 9- Go to File and click once 10- Go to Check Mail and click 11- Enter your password if requested and the program will check your email.. 12- There are a few options to consider. Under Special, go to Switches. Under Checking, the Leave Mail on Server box should be unchecked. If you plan on checking your email from more than one location then you should check this box. Otherwise your mail will be downloaded to where you are at the time you check your mail and it will then be unavailable to you from other locations unless you have ftp, etc. The other options are optional but you should go through them. Under Configuration the Use Signature is how you want your email to finish. Example: YourName, Phone Number, JobTitle, etc. Click OK when done. You create your Signature by clicking on Window and then Signature. Type in what you want to have as your signature (name, etc.). When you're done double-click the - (minus sign in the upper left corner of the signature box) and choose Save. That's it. To edit your signature just follow the above steps again.telephoning.
