- Click on Edit
- Click on Preferences and you will come to the following window.
- Next click on Mail & Newsgroups
- Click on Identity and you will come to the
following window
- Under Your name enter your full name.
- For Email Address enter your
LogonName@MarinCounty.net

SonomaCounty users enter your LogonName@SonomaMail.com
- For Reply-to-Address enter your LogonName@MarinCounty.net
SonomaCounty users enter your LogonName@SonomaMail.com
- Now click on Mail Server ( in the left window under Mail &
Groups)& you will come to the following window
- Type in your SMTP server ie. marincounty.net or
webperception.com Please check your signup form for the SMTP servername.
- Next type in your loginname in the box where it says nameserver user name
(Like my username is Peter.
- Next Click on Add and you will see the following box.
- Again type in the same servername as you have for SMTP. Make sure it says
POP3 in the box next to where it says server type.
- Next type in your user name (user name is same as login name).
- Check mark the bottom two boxes.
- Next click on the POP tab and uncheck the first box as shown below.
- For news group configuration Click on Newsgroup Servers and you will come
to the following box:
- Type news.webperception.com in the box as shown above.
- Click OK on all screens and you are all set.
