To access Outlook your email remotely follow these instructions:

Accessing email remotely in Outlook Express

1- Open Outlook Express by double clicking its icon on your desktop
or by opening Internet explorer and selecting the "Mail" button and "Read mail".


2- After Outlook opens select "Tools".

3- Click on the "Accounts (or Services)" Tab.

4- Click on the "Email" Tab.

5- Select your email account and click on the Properties button.

6- Copy the information from the General Tab and the Servers Tab.

7- Open up Outlook Express on the computer you wish to use for remote access.

8- After Outlook opens select "Tools".

9- Click on the "Accounts (or Services)" Tab.

10- Click on the "Add" Button.

11- Type your name in under display name and click Next.

12- Type your email address in under email address and click Next.

13- Type the incoming mail (POP3) server that you copied in step 6 under Incoming mail server.

14- Type the outgoing mail (SMTP) server of the isp that you will be using for access remotely under outgoing mail server and click Next.

15- Type in your password, leave the account name as is and click Next.

16- Click Finish and close Outlook. Next time you reopen it you will be able to get your email.
